Flight 93: HONOR THE TERRORISTS?
Thank you AGAIN to Michelle Malkin and JWR for looking at what is going on outside of Katrina Aid. I am SHOCKED at the imagery of this memorial. Here is a concept drawing:

What are they trying to do? Appease Muslims so they won't hate us or honor Mark Beamon and the sacrifices of those ordinary Americans on the plane who fought back against fascist killers? Theirs was a sacrifice of action and a payment of blood to stop terrorism. Why do we need the symbol of the crescent more common to the terrorists than to those supposedly honored?
The reasonable conclusion upon first examination would be that this memorial is for the terrorists, not the Americans. I would liken it to making a Jewish memorial in the shape of a Swastika.
